Your work is connected with the idea of communicating and reporting something in a creative way. So what does describing means to you?
‘Describing and telling is the only way we have to understand things while they’re happening. I believe that everyone needs to tell themselves stories in order to keep going – it might be a synonymous of braveness too.’
If you ever have the chance to look at something you’ve never seen in your life yet, what would it be?
‘My grandad Duccio working as a director on one of his movie sets.’
Is there something you wish you’d never seen?
‘No, I would never reject any bit of my experience. Actually, I would love to be able to see everything again, even what I once considered to be ugly. I love those bits the most.’
